Doom Patrol is an American superhuman TV series made by Jeremy Carver. Based on the DC Comics superhero team of the same name, and specifically Grant Morrison’s run on the title,[2] the series stars Jane (Diane Guerrero), Rita Farr (April Bowlby), Vic Stone (Joyvan Wade), Larry Trainor (Matt Bomer/Matthew Zook ), Cliff Steele (Brendan Fraser/Riley Shanahan), and Niles Calder (Timothy Dalton) as members of the Doom Patrol. Although Bowlby, Bomer and Fraser reprise their roles from the Titan series, the two shows are set in separate continuities.

The series premiered on February 15, 2019, exclusively on the DC Universe streaming service. The subsequent season circulated on both DC Universe and HBO Max, with the two web-based features delivering episodes at the same time on June 25, 2020. The third season, released exclusively on HBO Max, premiered on September 23, 2021. In October 2021 the series was renewed for a fourth season which premiered on December 8, 2022. In January 2023, it was announced that the fourth season would be its final season, scheduled to end on November 9, 2023.

Diane Guerrero Kay Challis / Crazy Jane: Kay Challis’ dominant identity, created to protect her. He and the other identities gained their own unique powers from an experiment he was unwittingly subjected to. Lila Owen portrays the teenage version of the character while in her Miranda identity.

Guerrero also portrays Driver 8, Crazy Jane’s identity as a train conductor who manages the Underground’s transportation.

Guerrero also portrays Karen, a blonde, blonde and the love-controlling identity of Crazy Jane. When Karen takes control of Crazy Jane’s body, her hair turns blonde.

Skye Roberts as Kay Chalice (seasons 3–4; recurring seasons 1–2): The original identity of a young girl who developed Jane and other distinct identities from childhood trauma. Because of his experiences, he remains a child in his subconscious while his identity takes control of his body. When she is in control of her body in the show, Kay possesses a sonic scream and her hair is longer than Crazy Jane’s.

April Bowlby as Rita Farr / Elasti-Woman: A former Hollywood actress, born Gertrude Cramp, whose cellular structure is altered to a gelatinous state after exposure to toxic gases underwater. His powers allow him to change the shape of his body, but struggle to maintain a solid form. At the end of the third season, he became the new leader of the team. Lana Jean Turner depicts Rita as a kid.

Alan Tudyk Eric Morden / Mr. Nobody (Season 1): An omnipresent supervillain capable of traveling through dimensions and altering reality. Conscious of being in a television series because of his powers, he often breaks the fourth wall and directs events through his narrative. Ed Asner portrays Mr. Ko in his hospital patient guise.

Matt Bomer and Matthew Zook as Larry the Trainer / Negative Man: A former United States Air Force pilot with a negative energy entity living inside. Disfigured from a plane crash while communicating with negative spirits, he is wrapped in special bandages to prevent the spread of radiation emanating from his body. Bomer voices the character and appears as Larry without the bandages in early flashbacks, while Matthew Zook physically portrays him in bandages and wearing artificial makeup without the bandages. Braxton Alexander portrays Larry as a child.

Brendan Fraser and Riley Shanahan as Cliff Steele / Robotman: A cyborg and former NASCAR driver whose brain is transplanted into a robotic body after a car accident destroys his own body and kills his wife. Fraser voices the character and appears as a human version of Cliff in flashbacks, and while he is underground, Riley Shanahan physically portrays him as a cyborg. Gibson portrays Todd Cliff as a child.

Shanahan also voiced Brain, the leader of the Brotherhood of Evil, in season 3.

Timothy Dalton as Niles Calder / The Chief (seasons 1–2; guest seasons 3–4): A doctor responsible for treating members of the Doom Patrol and housing them in their mansion. In season 2 he surrenders his eternality to assist the group and let his girl with growing up. At the beginning of season 3, he dies of old age. Abi Monterey portrays the chief as a child.

Jovan Wade as Victor “Vic” Stone / Cyborg: A young, aspiring superhero who receives cybernetic enhancements from his father Silas after an accident that causes his mother’s death. Although not a resident of Doom Manor, he joins the team due to his longtime friendship with the chief. Toward the finish of season 3 he eliminates his computerized improvements and gains engineered skin. Braelyn Rankins portrays Vic as a child.

Michelle Gomez Laura de Mille / Madame Rouge (Seasons 3–4): A shapeshifter with ties to the Chief and the Brotherhood of Evil. At the end of season 3, he joins the Doom Patrol.

  • Keiko Agena is Dr. Margaret Wu, a scientist at the Bureau of Public Affairs.

  • Dylan Saunders as the voice of Theodore “Teddy”, a war-butt.
  • James Smagula voiced by Nicholas, a war-butt and Theodore’s twin brother.
  • Riley Shanahan as Alistair Kincaid, a character in Rita’s movie classic Rondezvous.
  • Tyler Mann as Richard Frank/Torminx, an archenemy and father of Casey Bronk.
  • David Lengel as Jonathan, host of World of Watts.
  • Brooke J. Taylor as Claire Delaire, Mayor of Cloverton.
