Cast of Gen V - The Boys

Gen V is an American superhero television series created by Craig Rosenberg, Evan Goldberg, and Eric Kripke, serving as a spin-off of The Young men comic book story circular segment “We Have to Go At this point”. By Karey Ennis and Darrick Robertson. The series stars Jazz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizzie Broadway, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa German, and Shelley Conn.

 

Gen V fills in as the third TV series in The Young men establishment, and its most memorable season is set simultaneously with the fourth time of The Young men. The series premiered on Amazon Prime Video on September 29, 2023, and received mostly positive critical reviews, praising its characters and performances (especially Sinclair, Broadway, Phillips, and German), although some criticized the writing and pacing. Reviewers consider it a strong spin-off of its predecessor.

 

In October 2023, under a month after its debut, Gen V was reestablished briefly season.

  • Jazz Sinclair as Marie Moreau, a hemokinetic (able to mentally manipulate blood) with a tragic past.

o Jaeda LeBlanc portrays a young Marie.

  • Chance Perdomo as Andre Anderson, a popular student and Luke’s best friend with magnetic manipulation powers.
  • Liz Broadway Emma Meyer / Little Cricket, a super with the ability to change her shape by “puring” or eating.
  • Maddie Phillips as Kate Dunlap, a super with telepathic powers, primarily in the form of tactile mind control, and Luke’s longtime girlfriend.

o Violet Marino plays a young Kate.

  • Derek Luh as London Thor and Jordan Lee, an elite gender changer. Thor portrays the feminine form of Jordan who can fire energy blasts and Luh portrays the masculine form of Jordan who has superhuman durability.
  • German, played by Samuel “Sam” Riordan, is a young man with superhuman strength and endurance.

o Cameron Nicol plays a young Sam.

  • Shelley Conn (season 1) as Indira Shetty, dean of Godolkin University and a behavioral therapist who develops a “soup virus” to kill Supes.

  • Patrick Schwarzenegger as Luke Riordan / Golden Boy, Sam’s older brother and a popular student of pyrokinesis and superhuman strength.
  • Curtis Legault and Nicholas Hamilton as Maverick, the student representative at Godolkin University, able to disappear and the son of Translucent, a deceased former member of The Seven. Hamilton replaces Charles Aalto, who portrayed the character in The Boys. Legault portrayed his visible form in the first season finale while Hamilton voiced his invisible form.
  • Maia Ja Bastidas as Justin Garcia, a super influencer with enhanced durability and healing factor who attends the Crimson Countess School of Performing Arts.
  • Daniel Beirne as Social Media Jeff, Social Media Manager at Godolkin University
  • Sean Patrick Thomas as Polarity, Andre’s father and a famous superhero with magnetic manipulation who is a trustee of Godolkin University.
  • Alexander Calvert as Rufus, a mystic understudy at Godolkin College who has clairvoyance, astral projection and perceptiveness.
  • Marco Pigosi as Dr. Edison Cardosa, chief scientist of “The Woods” and developer of the “Soup Virus.”
  • Robert Bajocki as Liam, Emma’s classmate.
  • Jessica Merciful as Harper, a rodent followed understudy at Godolkin College.
  • Matthew Addison as Cameron Coleman, a pro-Soup news anchor for Vote News Network.[a]

Casting

On March 11, 2021, Liz starred in the Broadway and Jazz Sinclair series. On March 19, Shane Paul McGhee, Amy Carrero and Maddie Phillips starred in the series. On April 15, 2021, Rayna Hardesty starred in the series. On March 10, 2022, Carrero and McGhee exited the series. A few days later, Chance Perdomo joined the original cast, replacing McGhee. On April 25, 2022, Hardesty left the series. On May 9, 2022, London Thor was cast as Hardesty’s replacement. Derek Luh, Asa German, and Shelley Cone also joined the cast as series regulars. Two days later, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas and Marco Pigosi were cast in recurring roles. In November 2022, Clancy Brown joined the cast as Richard “Rich Brink” Brinkerhoff.[4][5] In December 2022, Jesse T. Usher, Colby Miniffee, and P.J. Byrne was confirmed to reprise his roles from The Boys as Reggie Franklin / A-Train, Ashley Barrett and Adam Bourke respectively,[24] while in September 2023, Derek Wilson was confirmed to be cast as Robert Vernon / Take Knight. was done
